Vision
To make carbon project development one connected process, in which every figure in a filing traces back to the land, the methodology and the measurement behind it.

Our mission
Flora Carbon AI builds the technology that takes a nature-based carbon project from its first boundary to its registry filing and field monitoring — five modules sharing one project record, with expert review at the gates that decide a project.
To make carbon project development one connected process, in which every figure in a filing traces back to the land, the methodology and the measurement behind it.
To bring transparency, traceability and credibility to nature-based carbon projects, helping unlock climate finance with confidence.
The problem we are solving
Developing a nature-based carbon project still runs through a chain of separate specialists and files. A GIS consultant screens the land, someone works through the methodology, a spreadsheet estimates the carbon, a consultant drafts the Project Design Document, and field teams record monitoring data on paper. Each hand-off re-keys the last stage's work, so errors compound quietly and gaps surface late — often at validation.
Every stage is a separate engagement.
Each hand-off re-keys the last stage's work.
Evidence is reconstructed, not traced.
Land eligibility alone depends on GIS expertise that many teams do not have in-house, which slows screening and limits how confidently a project can move forward. The result is a trust gap with buyers and validators, who need clear, defensible evidence before they can place confidence in carbon claims.
Our solution
Each module owns one stage of a carbon project and hands a structured record to the next, so nothing is typed twice between stages.
01 Screen
Satellite pre-feasibility for any boundary: land use, forest loss, terrain and climate, scored against Gold Standard eligibility before anyone visits the site.
02 Select
The methodology corpus, parsed. Fifty-plus methodologies across eleven registries, each linked to the documents and evidence it demands.
03 Quantify
Species-level sequestration over a thirty-year horizon, from growth models for seventy-five-plus species across six countries, calibrated on eight registered projects.
04 File
Reads the evidence, flags every compliance gap against the chosen methodology, and drafts the Project Design Document with a citation behind each claim.
05 Measure
Tree-level QR tagging and plot monitoring in the field. Every sapling gets an ID, a location, a planting record and a photograph — the ground truth verification runs on.
Expert review. Software automates the analysis. It cannot anticipate how a validator will challenge the project, so an expert reviews every module's output before it reaches certification.
